Matt London is held in high regard as a classical tenor saxophone specialist and as an aspiring composer fascinated with open and unconfined performance and writing.
With a broad and open minded approach to music instilled from study at the Royal Northern College of Music [MMus Distinction] with Rob Buckland and Andy Scott [saxophone], and current doctoral study at Brunel University London under the supervision of Peter Wiegold and Christopher Fox [composition], Matt continues to explore and develop a forward looking approach to his music.
His debut classical album “SPEAK NOW Music for tenor saxophone” presents a selection of original tenor saxophone works by composers from across the UK.
